Panda Li’s Kitchen has served this corner of southeast Orlando the way small Chinese kitchens have always worked — a long menu, a hot wok, and food that leaves the pass the moment it is made. Nothing sits waiting to be sold.
I The kitchen
Cooked to order, the way you remember it
The menu runs to 284 dishes — appetizers and soups, fried rice and lo mein, chop suey, chow mein, egg foo young, sweet and sour, and a long list of beef, pork, seafood, chicken and vegetable plates.
Most come in small and large sizes, so lunch for one and dinner for the table are both easy to order. Everything is stir fried when the order comes in rather than held ready, which is why a wok kitchen can be quick without cooking anything in advance.
II The menu
House specials and dinner combinations
The house special list is where the kitchen stretches out: Happy Family, Seafood Delight, Orange Beef, Crispy Beef and Walnuts Shrimp among them.
Dinner specials are served with pork fried rice and an egg roll or soup. Lunch specials run from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM with pork fried rice and soup or a soda — the same kitchen, sized for a weekday.
III Getting it to you
Pickup and delivery across the neighbourhood
Delivery runs within a six mile radius of the restaurant with a $15 minimum order, from 11:00 AM until 9:30 PM.
Pickup is available throughout opening hours. Call (407) 380-8810 and it will be ready when you arrive — and because orders are taken by phone rather than through an app, a question about a dish gets an answer from the people cooking it.
